Tyrrell P34 sixwheeler bodywork

This is a large bodywork piece from the famous Tyrrell sixwheeler Formula 1 car that was driven by the Swede Ronnie Peterson in 1977. This particular bodyshell was used in the beginning of the 1977 season, because later on in the season, plastic windows were fitted around the top of the cockpit area. Although Ronnie Peterson was seen as the fastest and most spectacular racing driver of the 1970s, he was not very successful in this car with a 3rd place in the Belgium Grand Prix as his best result. He would be re-united with his old Lotus team in 1978, winning two races before his fatal accident in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Nowadays this piece is displayed in a Swedish exhibition about the racing career of Ronnie.
